Our 1st grade students are leading the effort to collect items to make Christmas Gift Boxes for our community.

CHRISTMAS BOXES – Deadline for Donations:    MONDAY, DECEMBER 11th

It has been a holiday tradition for Hazelwood Elementary students and staff to collect items for Christmas Gift Boxes for the elderly in our community.  There are many elderly residents in Haywood County who need our help to ensure they have a wonderful Christmas this year.

  • Liquid dish detergent
  • Toilet paper (4 pack)
  • Batteries
  • Socks (both men and women)
  • Nail files or clippers
  • Candy
  • Bars of soap (or liquid hand soap)
  • Small blankets or throws
  • Pens and notepads
  • Postage stamps
  • Hand and body lotion
  • Flashlight
  • Paper towels
  • Light bulbs
  • Toothpaste and toothbrush
  • Shampoo and conditioner
  • Gloves
  • Magazines
