Hazelwood Elementary Celebrates Success with Fall Reading Challenge
Students at Hazelwood set a goal of reading 11,500 books during the month of October. They used Habit 2 “Begin with the End in Mind” by setting goals and tracking their progress over the course of the month.
Not only did students meet the goal – they exceeded it by reading a total of 23, 927 books! Students and staff synergized to accomplish the goal, and everyone was excited to see Mrs. Rogers kiss “Pickles the Pig” at a Leadership Celebration on November 18. The students are already brainstorming ways to celebrate their next reading goal!
