Teachers Learn About Engaging Kids in Reading

Three of our staff, Mrs. Buff, Mrs. Conner, and Mrs. Pope, spent three days at NCCAT (NC Center for the Advancement of Teaching) in a powerful workshop called “Engaging Reluctant Readers: Bringing Boys to Books.” They are learning about engaging our students to become life-long readers and learners. We look forward to them bringing this knowledge back to Hazelwood and our students.
