Hazelwood Student Wins 1st Place in Poster Contest

Hazelwood Elementary is very proud of Mark Rogers, a student in Lorri Reece’s 5th grade class, who won First Place in the Haywood County Soil and Water Conservation Poster Contest on February 8th.

The theme of this year’s poster contest was “Water…The Cycle of Life” and entries were received from elementary schools across Haywood County. We know Mark uses the habit of “Beginning With the End in Mind” in his school work and we are happy that his efforts were recognized by the Soil and Water Conservation District.
