A Special Visitor Comes to Hazelwood’s Family Literacy Night

Our 16th president, Abraham Lincoln, portrayed by 5th grade teacher Mr. Blake Kerby, made an appearance at our annual Family Literacy Night on Thursday, Spetember 29th. Children (and adults!) enjoyed his read-aloud of the book John, Paul, George, & Ben by Lane Smith. It was an evening filled with learning and fun reading activities as families came together to learn more about literacy.
