The Haywood Soil and Water Conservation District recently hosted Awards Night at the Regional High Tech Center to honor 21 students who were the winners in its annual group of contests. This year’s theme was “We All Live in a Watershed.”

Each winning student was awarded a cash prize and a trophy. Mena Tanner, a fourth grade student at Hazelwood, was one of the four poster contest winners. Way to go, Mena!
