We are excited to share with you a SCHOOL-WIDE SERVICE PROJECT happening over the next two weeks. Plott Hounds are community and globally minded so we are going to synergize (it will take all of us doing a little to accomplish a lot!) and think win win! (we will be helping others with our items and it always feels good to be a helping hand!).
Most of us are aware of the refugee crisis which is being referred to as one of the worst humanitarian disasters in history with more than 11 million people displaced (worldwide numbers over the past couple of years that have peaked in the past month). From now until September 25th we will be collecting much needed items that will be sent to refugees on the Greek island of Lesvos. These refugees are women, men, and children, primarily from Syria and Afghanistan. We have included a list of the much needed items on the back of this sheet. ALL HELP IS APPRECIATED!! Just bring them into the front of the school and drop them into a box/buggy and we will take care of the rest.
