The Master Gardeners had a great first day in the garden with the 2nd graders! They dug and washed potatoes, and picked beans and carrots. They even came across tomato horn worms with eggs on them! Soon, these students will have a scavenger hunt and begin cleaning up some of the beds that are “done”. Thanks to our Master Gardeners for showing our students how to begin with the end in mind in caring for our garden!
